One day we’re sitting there thinking, “You know I’m getting pretty good in this Christian thing,” and we’ve totally forgotten this mess of the heart that’s inside us. And all I’m saying is:

“Nothing that you do for your image is ever going to change your heart. In your heart, that’s all God really cares about. I mean yeah, it’s frightening down there but… don’t ignore it. It’s dangerous to ignore it. I mean… your heart? that’s your eternity.”
